Vitreous Cryopreservation of Nanofibrous Tissue-Engineering Constructs Generated Using Mesenchymal Stromal Cells
This article demonstrates that a vitrification method; changing the liquid to solid and solid to liquid without ice-making, of tissue-engineered constructs is an alternative way to store them for next demand in clinical trials. It explains changing the liquid to solid by immersion directly into nitrogen liquid at -196°C during 11 minutes and changing the solid to liquid by waring in 38°C water bath during 15 minutes.
