مطلب زير، خلاصه يک مقاله ديگراز آخرين شماره مجله آکتا بيوماترياليا است که هنوز چاپ نشده است. اين مقاله، گزارش ترميم بافت استخوان و غضروف بوسيله کاشت سلول بنيادی در يک کامپوزيت هيدروژلی همراه با فاکتورهای محرک رشد انسانی است. 

  Repair of osteochondral defects with biodegradable hydrogel composites encapsulating marrow mesenchymal stem cells in a rabbit model

Articular cartilages as other avascular tissues, it lacks an internal capacity to repair or regenerate itself. However, tissue engineering methods which are included MSCs, bioactive factors for characterization and scaffold will be leaded articular cartilages regeneration in the future. This study demonstrated the delivery of bone marrow MSCs from a biodegradable hydrogel composite as a scaffold to repair an osteochondral defect in a rabbit model. The researchers formulate oligo poly ethylene glycol fumarate (OPF); as a cell carrier, containing gelatine micro particles (GMPs) for controlled release of growth factors, digestion porogen and enhancement of cell’s proliferation. They divided 18 rabbits into 3 groups. First, OPF/GMPs, second OPF/GMPs plus 10*10⁶ MSCs/ml and the last OPF/GMPs/MSCs plus 600 ng/ml TGF-β₁ loaded by GMPs that showed an increase in gene expression of type II collagen and aggrecan; characteristic for chondrocytes...............................................
